Dave Overberg from Kettering Ohio and his Entry Level craft ran strong all weekend. We asked Dave how he managed to stay in front of some more powerful craft during the entire race, he said - Get the hole shot and stay on the throttle.

Graham Spencer from Troy Ohio in his Heron F25 craft getting a little air on a transition. These machines ran well in every race. Graham mentioned after the races that he was having a minor problem with the lift fan drive belt slipping causing a small decrease in lift for the craft.

 Louis Bondurant from Marietta Georgia leads into a turn on the pond in his Air Commander with Steve Pope in his Stealth hovercraft right on his heels. Formula 1 racing was very competitive with all drivers and machines closely matched.

Keith MaCurdy with his prototype WIG. The design was still undergoing modifications for trim and balance. Construction material is double wall lexan available from G.E. The material is often used in greenhouse construction but makes a lightweight, rigid structure. Great for rudders!

 Marlee Bondurant takes her Dad's racing craft out for a spin on the course before the races. Marlee and her friend Alisa Hanley worked the sign board during the races keeping drivers and spectators informed of the race classifications that were running.
