BUDWEISER POINT TO POINT CHALLENGE RULES AND DIRECTIONS

Objective:  To earn points by collecting as many items on the list as possible.  All participants must obtain a coupon from the two displays located 5 miles up river and 5 miles down river from the rally site in order to be scored.  The person that accumulates the most points wins.

Rules & Regulations

OPERATE CRAFT IN A SAFE MANNER!

1) All drivers MUST be registered and $5 entry fee paid BEFORE departing.

2) All participants MUST attend pilot briefing.

3) Each participant must obtain an index card from each of the marked displays - approximately five miles up the river and approximately five miles down the river in order to be scored.

4) You will be scored from the contents in your furnished collection bag. Plainly print your name on the collection bag. Don’t lose it. No name – no score! No bag – no score!

5) Note baggies inside your collection (grocery) bag for dirt and or sand samples.

6) Timing is critical. You MUST be off the river and checked in by 11:15 AM otherwise you will be disqualified and you will not be scored!

7) Passengers are permitted and encouraged.

8) Judges’ decisions are final. There will be no protests. The officials reserve the right to make last minute changes if necessary.

9) Minimum distance traveled up and down river will be at least 20 miles. Fuel up accordingly.

10) Race officials will be wearing red, white, and blue hats. Show them your respect.

11) Winners to be announced at Saturday evening annual Dinner Meeting starting at 6:30 PM.

12) First prize of $500 furnished by BUDWEISER. Second prize of $250 and third prize of $150 are furnished by $100 contributions from Air Commander Hovercraft, Hovercraft Depot, LLC., Griffon Hovercraft USA, Hovertechnics, Inc, Universal Hovercraft and a $50 contribution from Neoteric Hovercraft, Inc. Four $25 gift certificates contributed by Slipstream Hover Technologies, LLC. The HCA thanks these sponsors for their generous donations.

13)  The list of items to be collected along with their point values will be provided in the drivers meeting prior to departure! 

Some items will have mystery point values.
