The Hoverclub of America has set aside $2500.00 in appearance money as incentive to attract as many racers and cruisers as possible to Riverside Hoverally '09.

The first 50 registrants may become eligible to receive a $50.00 check from the Hoverclub.

How do you receive your $50.00?? It's Easy! Just register early, bring your working hovecraft(s) and successfully participate in either the Racing, Cruising or the Challenges. The Club Directors will determine your eligibilty and checks will be handed out on Sunday at the awards ceremony.

So get your Hovercraft in tip-top condition and come Live it UP at Hoverally '09

Rules for elligibility:

1. Register early. Be one of the first 50 to register. You can register on-site or on-line.

2. Bring 1 or more working hovercraft and successfully compete in a race, the cruise or one of the challenges. If racing, you must complete at least 1 heat. If cruising, you must participate and return under your own power. If a Challenge, you must complete the Challenge without breaking down.

Notes:

1. The HCA Board of Directors has the sole authority to determine award eligibility. There will be no protests.

2. When the $2500.00 total award pool is exhausted, that's it!. Under certain circumstances, it is possible, that the award pool may be split amongst fewer than 50 registrants (depending on the number of craft registered).

3. If the award total for all eligible registrants is less than $2500.00, the remainder will remain in the Hoverclub treasury.

Questions and Answers

Q. I am bringing 2 hovercraft and registering for both the Cruise and the Racing. I will be operating each hovercraft separately. Can I receive $100.00 because I'm bringing 2 craft?

A. Yes. As long as each craft is individually registered for an event, and you meet all the above requirments.

Q. My school is bringing 4 craft, will we be eligible to receive $50.00 for each craft we bring?

A. If each craft is individually registered in an event and participates successfully in the event, and you meet all the above requirements, then Yes.

Q. I'm bringing my half finished hovercraft and plan to sell it at Hoverally. It won't be coming off the trailer. Will I receive $50.00?

A. No.

Q. I'm bringing 1 hovercraft, and registering for all the events. Can I receive $50.00 for each event I participate in?

A. No. You will only be eligible to receive $50.00 total.

Q. I participated in a race, but I broke down and never completed 1 heat. But the next day I fixed my craft and successfully participated in the Slalom Challenge. Can I still receive my $50.00?

A. Yes, you may still be eligible for the $50.00

Q. I participated in a race, but I wrecked my craft in an accident that was beyond my control and did not complete 1 heat, and had to sit out for the remainder of the weekend. Can I still receive my $50.00?

A. Yes, you may still be eligible for the $50.00. This "no fault" accident clause applies to Cruisers also. (we do have a heart after all)

Q. If I can't be there on Sunday afternoon to collect my $50.00 reward, do I forefit it?

A. If you have to leave early on Sunday, but have met the above requirments, the club will mail your check to you.
