World Hovercraft Championship 2010. The bi-annual event, which was last held in Sweden has come to the UK for the first time in 10 years and attracted teams from America, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and France.
This is part 1 of 6. Made by SCAT in 1990, this segment contains some great footage from the 1989 World Hovercraft Championships in Troy, Ohio. There are many TALL claims in this show, but remember, it is really just a big SCAT commercial. I don't know if it ever aired.

This 20 minute video was taken at the main event of the 2003 National hover rally at Troy Ohio. Hovercraft racing at this level involves completing a race circuits over both land and water, with banked turns, twists, chicanes, jumps and drops. Hovercraft racing is an action packed sport, for both participants and spectators of every age.
