We are going to be filming on Saturday April 18 at Lake Lanier around 8 AM. The original location was to be Thompson Creek Park. We have been in negotiations with Lake Lanier Islands Resort in Buford, GA at their Water Park and possibly one of their golf courses.
The concept of the show will be training their host "Johnny" how to drive a hovercraft for the first time and then showing him driving around with different scenarios.
If anyone is interested in being a part of this, let me know. I will need to know who all will be there as to get the participants in the front gate.

The show will not be aired and they will not give me a copy of it.
They sent it out for audiences to view in private and they felt that is was not what they wanted.
They did contact me again about filming a more extreme version with stunts and such.
This was supposed to happen this month, but they have not contacted me about this newer version.
I was contacted by a police department that was contacted by the producers. They have some kind of extreme machine that they were going to do a show with.
Chris Sorgatz did a show that should be airing sometime soon. They built a craft in a week - that worked.
They were doing some filming at the race at Pontiac Lake.

They are going to be in the Atlanta are this weekend to film more footage for the show.
It will be either Saturday OCT 24 or Sunday OCT 25. They are not sure of the schedule or location at the moment.
They are looking for more race machines this time and want a few stunts.
Please let me know if you are interested as I will have more details in the next day or so.

Sounds like a new MTV program.
I just talked to Bill about this. The producers are the same of which who were here in Atlanta last spring. They filmed us for the pilot episode which did not air. They showed it to a review audience and decided that it was not extreme enough. Come to find out they are filming a whole episode on hovercraft. I have been in touch With the persons at Lion over the past few days. They called me at the beginning of the week and wanted the Atlanta Group to get together and get some more filming to make an episode just on hovercraft.
After talking to Bill, they will be filming him and his machines and then coming to Atlanta to do more this weekend after they are done with him.
COOL!
Here is info that I pulled off of the net about the show.
MEGADRIVE: “Megadrive” features audacious host Johnny Pemberton as he attempts to master the most extreme vehicles ‘off the road’ often ending in mayhem and destruction. Although he has failed his drivers license test several times and has no business behind the wheel of anything that moves, Pemeberton will push these vehicles to their limits as he embarks on a hilarious adventure across America, where he challenges power, speed and gravity.

Johnny actually picked up driving very quickly at the filming during the spring. I was surprised.

The "shoot" for this weekend has been canceled.
"We just were hit with hurricane force bad news: we had a vehicle fall through and it’s completely disrupted our shoot schedule this week. We remain excited about filming with you guys but we’ve crunched the numbers over and over and just can’t make the schedule work for this weekend.
Nobody is more frustrated right now than we are, and we deeply regret bearing this news when you’ve put so much effort into getting this weekend to happen on such short notice."
I will post more as I am informed.

Image Gallery for It's a plane: crews film episode of MTV show at Schuylkill County Airport
Lightbox link MOUNT PLEASANT - Three fighter jets soared over the Schuylkill County Joe Zerbey Airport on Monday as crews filmed an episode of an upcoming MTV series.
"It's been exciting, exhilarating," airport Manager Bill Willard said Monday afternoon, during a break in filming of the show "MegaDrive," produced by Lion Television and set to air on MTV in the spring.
The show stars comedian Johnny Pemberton as he test drives "some of the most extreme vehicles on the planet," according to Lion TV's Web site.
The quest for extreme rides brought Pemberton to Schuylkill County as three Czech-made L-39s were flown in for the shoot.
Trained pilots manned the controls in each plane, while Pemberton and other crew members were passengers. The show's executive producer, Rob Anderson, said the Schuylkill County airport "met the needs" of the show. Chief among them, Anderson said, was minimal air traffic in the area.
"It's been a lot of fun," Anderson said of the crew's time in Schuylkill County. "We've been learning a lot."
Monday marked the first time a TV episode was filmed at the airport, and Willard had little time to prepare.
"Just found out about four days ago, right around New Year's," he said.
Two of the L-39s are based in the Allentown area, while the other was brought in from Scarsdale, N.Y.
Pilot Larry Labriola flew his plane from Scarsdale early Monday and returned after the shoot.
"We got up to about 7,500 feet," he said of his time in the air with the TV crew. "These are fun little toys."
Labriola's plane, made in 1983, hit about 280 mph and burned about a gallon of fuel a minute.
The aircraft spent about an hour in the air. Exactly what they did, however, will remain a mystery until the show airs.
Anderson said Pemberton's quest has so far taken him to "all four corners" of the country. He has boarded race cars, hovercraft, an M1 Abrams tank and "the world's fastest backhoe," according to Anderson.
While Monday was a whirlwind of activity for Willard and the airport staff, he said it was worth it.
"I'm really excited, not just for the airport, but for the county," Willard said.
A local woman even ended up with a small role in the episode. Melissa Pedemonti, 20, of Girardville, said she was recruited by Lion Television crews Sunday night after trained models were unable to make the shoot.
On a bitter cold day at the airport, Pedemonti's role was to "freeze outside in a box," she said.
She and another actor donned flesh-covered outfits and leaped from a box on the runway. The gag, Pedemonti said, made it appear like two naked people were running around the airport, surprising the pilots.
"It's been interesting," she said of her time working with the crews.
