If you are having problems
with PayPal
1. "Your session
timed out" error message...
Some people are getting a "Your session timed out"
error message right after
you click on the [Pay] button on the PayPal page. This then
returns you to
the PayPal login page, and no matter how many times you login
to PayPal you
will continuously be returned to this page. The error is caused
by some of the security and/or privacy settings on your Internet
Explorer browser configuration.
During PayPal transactions they
save some cookie information locally on your computer while
the transaction is being processed. This information is necessary
to track exactly what you
have purchased. However, the security and/or privacy settings
on your browser may interpret the activity as harmful or just
another useless cookie and "block" the creation of
cookies on your computer. This results in the PayPal services
inability to complete the transaction and you get the time-out
notice. Adjust your settings to allow all cookies and proceed
with the transaction. Afterward, you can go back and delete
the cookies. We always do.
2. "If
the PayPal shopping cart screen shows an item that you did not
purchase, but perhaps it was something you purchased long ago..."
Go into your web browser settings
page and delete cookies. This will force PayPal to create a
new cookie, and your PayPal transaction will start to work properly.
